This is an elite paddle. I'm a reviewer on YouTube. @notdeadyetpickleball. You can see me review there.
This is a paddle that allows me to amplify the effects from my strokes. Power from the baseline when I need it and just the right amount of pop with soft hands at the kitchen. It is like a trusty partner reminding me sharply when my strokes go off, but it is also a giving one that rewards me greatly when I get it done right. Overall, this paddle has all the ticks that I am looking for, be it for doubles or singles.
Hi Hong Yee, thank you so much for this thoughtful review! We love that the Sonic is giving you that extra pop on your strokes while still staying soft and controlled at the kitchen — that's exactly the balance we designed it for, whether you're playing doubles or singles. Really appreciate you taking the time to share this with us! 🙌
I love the way the ball “pockets” on the paddle. Drops and resets are easy and i can feel the ball better on this paddle.
This paddle exceeded my expectations by a lot. I saw a great review online but often the paddle doesn’t align to the promises even from “independent” reviewers. This one delivers! Power when I need it and it pockets the ball so I get the dwell I need for control. Also extremely easy on the elbow. Highly recommend!
Thank you so much, Jessica. We're thrilled the paddle lived up to the hype, from the power and dwell to being gentle on your elbow. Your recommendation means a lot to a small brand like ours. Enjoy your games! — Team Ascend
Great paddle. Plays great and gives you everything you need.
This paddle is really good. Just as good if not better than the big boys.
Thank you so much! We're thrilled the paddle is delivering for you. If you ever want to share what you love most about it, whether it's the power, control or feel, we'd love to hear. Enjoy your games! — Team Ascend
Great all-court paddle at an excellent price. The Sonic provides outstanding ball feel, plenty of control, and isn't overly poppy like some other MPP paddles. The grit has held up well thus far, and the MPP/TPE combination delivers a controlled, confidence-inspiring response. As a bonus, I love supporting a small brand whose owner is passionate about growing the game and requests honest feedback. Easy recommendation for players looking for a balanced paddle that can do it all.
Thank you so much! We're thrilled the Sonic is giving you great feel, control and a confident response all over the court. And it means a lot that you're supporting a small brand that's passionate about growing the game. Your honest feedback helps us keep improving. Enjoy your games! — Team Ascend
